Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Scribe with expertise in editing and correcting medical dictation generated by speech recognition software. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with eClinicalWorks (eCW), ensuring that accurate and comprehensive documentation is maintained for patient encounters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient information, including medical history, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures as dictated by healthcare providers.
- Review, edit, and correct medical dictation produced by speech recognition software (e.g., Dragon Medical or similar systems) to ensure precision, proper grammar, and compliance with medical standards.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) to enter and manage patient data, including updating charts, prescriptions, and orders, ensuring timely and accurate information is available for healthcare providers.
- Ensure that medical records meet accuracy and compliance standards by checking for errors in both voice-to-text transcriptions and manual entries.
Qualifications:
- At least 01 year of experience as a medical scribe, including specific experience in editing speech recognition software-generated medical dictation.
- Proven experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR software for managing patient records, charting, and clinical documentation.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and procedures to accurately interpret and transcribe physician notes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and transcription.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
