Natural Gas Distribution Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager with a strong background in overseeing Safety and Operational-related Natural Gas Distribution projects. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and ensuring the successful delivery of operational tasks related to the safe and efficient distribution of natural gas. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of safety regulations, operational best practices, and project management skills, combined with experience in the natural gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of multiple natural gas distribution projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial scope development to post-project evaluation.
• Implement and monitor safety standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local governing bodies.
• Ensure all work follows company safety procedures and that all team members are properly trained and equipped for safety in the field.
• Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and performance reviews to stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Monitor and track project expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial performance.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly without compromising safety or quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Safety Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of industry-specific experience, with a focus on natural gas distribution projects, safety management, and operational oversight.
• Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering complex safety and operational projects in the natural gas or energy industry.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices related to natural gas distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
