Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Inspector/Finisher to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of medical device products as they move through various stages of the production process. You will work closely with the Quality Control and Production teams to inspect, finish, and package products to meet the company's high standards for safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify defects and issues in products during the inspection process, documenting and reporting findings accurately.
- Ensure that all finished products are properly assembled, packaged, and labeled according to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Support the final finishing process, including product cleaning, assembly, labeling, and final visual inspection.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Follow and maintain established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards for product quality and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any corrective actions taken.
- Assist in the packaging process to ensure products are safely and properly packaged for shipment, preventing damage during transit.
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure timely delivery and meet production deadlines.
- Continuously monitor production and quality control processes to ensure product compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Quality Inspection or Packaging in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards, including GMP, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform inspections with precision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments).
- Ability to work with electronic documentation systems and other inspection-related tools.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in quality inspection or related fields are a plus.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with medical device assembly and finishing processes.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control best practices in the medical device industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
- Use HACCP principles for food safety inspections
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
