Job Summary:
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging medical devices in a cleanroom environment. You will follow strict quality standards, work instructions, and safety guidelines to ensure the production of devices that meet regulatory and company standards.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom with PPE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and semi-automated assembly of medical devices in accordance with work instructions and SOPs
- Operate production equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct in-process inspections and basic testing to ensure product quality
- Accurately complete production documentation and logs
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance in a cleanroom or controlled environment
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors immediately
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (medical device industry preferred)
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, SOPs, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom with PPE
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.56 - $19.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Machine Operating/Production: 2 years (Required)
- Medical Device: 1 year (Preferred)
- Packaging: 2 years (Required)
