Position Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. This role involves monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, and ensuring that products meet specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
- Follow production schedules and ensure that daily production targets are met.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Assist in training new operators and team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret measurements.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

- Overnight shift
- Rotating shift
- Weekends as needed
