What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator position at Infotree Global Solutions?
Hybrid Role: Supply Chain Specialist
- Schedule: 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with some flexibility for other days, hours can vary (7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, Monday-Friday).
- Potential for permanent hire based on performance.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in purchasing raw materials and finished goods in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills (internal and external).
- Knowledge of PowerBI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze procurement needs and ensure timely ordering of raw materials and finished goods to meet demand.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely payments and scheduling.
- Use analytics to improve supplier lead times, order quantities, and inventory management, leading to cost savings and better scheduling.
- Coordinate across functions, including vendors, carriers, and plant teams, to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Additional Notes:
- PowerBI knowledge is preferred, alongside advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour
