High-Level Roles & Responsibilities:
Hands on architecture experience.
- Deploy & Manage AWS Infrastructure Implement and maintain core AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, VPCs, S3, and RDS.
- Serverless Application Development Develop, deploy, and optimize AWS Lambda functions, API Gateway, and AppSync-based applications.
- Cloud Security & Compliance Configure AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, IAM roles, and policies to ensure security and compliance best practices.
- Networking & CDN Management Configure AWS networking components, including Cloudflare integration, Route 53, and VPC peering for secure connectivity.
- Monitoring & Logging Set up and manage observability tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and SNS/SQS-based alerting mechanisms.
- Data Storage & Performance Optimization Implement and manage NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) and caching layers with AWS Elasticache (Redis/Memcached).
- CI/CD & Automation Work with DevOps team to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, integrating with ECR for containerized deployments.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery Configure automated backup strategies using AWS Backup, cross-region replication, and failover strategies for disaster recovery.
- Configuration & Systems Management Utilize AWS Systems Manager, AWS AppConfig, and Parameter Store for centralized configuration and management.
- Collaboration & Support Work closely with architects, developers, and security teams to optimize AWS solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
