Responsibilities:
- Software development
- Create software applications supporting new feature enhancements delivering product roadmap requirements.
- Implement new QA application testing frameworks to improve application quality and security.
- Develop application framework components to create re-usable application delivery and development capabilities.
- Coordinate application reliability and observability enhancements with DevOps and application support teams.
- Innovation
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in manual SDLC processes and propose automation solutions to streamline workflows.
- Participate in and deliver implementations of Cloud-based application components and design migration strategies to Cloud native services and SaaS offerings.
- Identify and collaborate to develop best practices and tools for software development, code generation, and AI assisted programming techniques.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience developing regulatory reporting applications and integrations with regulatory regimes.
- Experience improving the UX for Compliance and Regulatory reporting and operations team will be a plus.
- Extensive experience with financial product details, trade processing, life cycle events, corporate actions, position management, security and pricing master processes and systems.
- Experience programming languages, including C# (.NET Core), Python.
- Experience with database environments including Microsoft SQL-Server, Postgres, MongoDB or other large scale data warehouse technologies such as DataBricks.
- Architecture experience developing multi-tiered applications running in a containerized operating environment, preferably Kubernetes based.
- Experience with messaging platforms for queues, publish / subscribe, or streaming architectures, preferably Kafka implementations.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, QA unit testing frameworks, GitHub.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Agile environment to deliver iteratively.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
