Overview
We are seeking a chemical Waste Removal Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical waste removal services in industrial areas
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to efficiently clean up chemical waste
- Ensure all waste is properly disposed of in accordance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in designated areas
Skills
- Hazardous Technician. MUST provide a 40-hour HAZWOPER active certification in order to be considered. If the current certification is expiring then candidate must attend the 8 hr CE. Provide the 8 CE Certificate as well.
- candidates must have completed respirator training and make sure they have their own respirator to bring to work location due to dealing with Hazardous chemicals and be able to lift 50-pound item as well.
Work Timing: Every Wednesday from 07:00 AM -03.00PM PST and the Second Saturday of each month. In short, they will only work 5 days per month
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
