Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate CAT5/CAT6 cables with precision.
- Run and terminate fiber optic cables to ensure reliable, high-speed connectivity.
- Provision, install, and align wireless internet antennas for optimal performance.
- Configure and install routers to integrate seamlessly into our network.
- Serve as the face of the company, engaging with customers daily to ensure a positive installation experience.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while addressing any questions or concerns.
- Strictly follow OSHA and company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, snow, wind, rain)
- Climbing ladders and working on rooftops (up to three stories high)
- Regular face-to-face interaction with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Opportunity to work in-office on provisioning and upgrading equipment, contributing to the technical backend of our services
- Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Strong background in construction or hands-on work is highly preferred—ideal candidates are comfortable using tools and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of networking, personal computing equipment, and routers.
- Familiarity with AC/DC wiring is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service is highly valued, as technicians will regularly interact with customers and represent the company.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers.
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and maintain a clean driving record.
Education & Licensing:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to carry ladders up to 35 feet in length
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended periods
- Comfortable working from ladders and rooftops
