Assistant Project Manager/Estimator
The Assistant Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for providing support to the Project Manager in the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical transmission and distribution, high voltage T&D, substation construction and maintenance, and will have 3-7 years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in the development of project plans and schedules
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resolve project issues and conflicts
- Prepare project reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in the electrical transmission and distribution industry
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
