Senior Transmission Engineer

• Lead transmission line design projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical oversight, expertise, and guidance to design staff
• Conduct economic studies and calculations for conductor selection, lightning performance, and grounding
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes
• Review vendor drawings and manage change orders
• Collaborate with project managers on schedules, budgets, and staffing
• Conduct field inspections and resolve installation issues
• Prepare technical reports and participate in client relationships and business development
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/QC adherence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 7 years of transmission engineering experience
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM, Civil 3D)
• PE license and EPC project experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel
