Job Description
This full-time, onsite role requires a highly skilled professional to conduct comprehensive land surveys, analyze survey data, and prepare detailed and accurate survey documents. The role involves close collaboration with team members to ensure precision and quality in our surveying services. We specialize in ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and subdivision plats.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee land surveys in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze, interpret, and process field data for accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare survey maps, plats, and other documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate survey tasks and ensure project timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality control throughout all surveying tasks.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software, including Trimble and Carlson systems, to complete surveys efficiently and accurately.
- Keep updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must hold a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license for Tennessee and/or Georgia.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
- Education: Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Demonstrated experience with Trimble and Carlson equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and advanced field techniques.
- Proficiency in other surveying software and tools is a plus.
