Infrasense is anticipating significant continued growth in the northeast, especially with our subsurface utility engineering and geophysical services. With this, we are currently looking to fill multiple positions, including a full-time Subsurface Utility Engineer to work in a collaborative and flexible environment where each member’s unique capabilities and contributions are valued. Responsibilities
- Performing routine engineering tasks; requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
- Conducting routine data collection, documentation, synthesis, and analysis using established procedures
- Working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams to meet all assigned project deadlines
- Training and mentoring crews with a positive can-do attitude.
- Assisting with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and / or assignments within discipline.
- Preparing high quality deliverables that are on time, and within budget and scope. Deliverables include but are not limited to site drawings, condition maps, and reports
- Contributing to development of technical procedures / methods
- Performing all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols
- Willing to travel (~25%)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings / weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required
