THE CLIENT
The client is a high growth International Alternative Investment Manager with various products across real assets and infrastructure sectors including private equity, energy transition, real estate, and retail logistics. They are currently building a new private equity product to focus on digital infrastructure investments across data centers, towers, fiber, and other emerging technologies.
They use a thematic and creative investment approach when exploring new sectors. They look to structure and manage their investments with a value-add approach that has enabled them to perform in the top quartile bucket returns across their strategies.
THE ROLE
As a Private Equity Associate, you'll be a core team member of a new strategy, working on lean deal teams that will allow for ownership of the execution process and significant visibility to the highest ranks of the business. In this role, you will build close relationships with portfolio companies and contribute to value-add initiatives through their thematic investment process. Additionally, you will help to guide and shape their digital infrastructure strategy and target asset classes for the fund to invest in.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of Investment Banking M&A or Private Equity experience with a focus on digital infrastructure, TMT, infrastructure, power, renewables, industrials, or other related fields
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Experience creating pitch decks and other marketing materials
- Strong written and oral communications
- Must be in or willing to relocate to New York City
