THE CLIENT
The client is an established Alternative Investment Manager with a 30 year track record investing in the infrastructure and energy space. They are looking to add a Private Equity Associate to their New York office on their power, renewables, and energy transition investing team.
They use a thematic and creative investment approach when exploring new sectors. They look to structure and manage their investments with a value-add approach that has enabled them to perform in the top quartile bucket returns across their strategies.
THE ROLE
As a Private Equity Associate, you'll be working on lean deal teams that will allow for ownership of the execution process and significant visibility to the highest ranks of the business. In this role, you will build close relationships with portfolio companies and contribute to value-add initiatives through their thematic investment process.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of Investment Banking M&A or Private Equity experience with a focus on power, renewables, utilities, or energy
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Experience creating pitch decks and other marketing materials
- Strong written and oral communications
- Must be in or willing to relocate to New York City
