Our services include earthwork, utility installation including storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water lines, as well soil stabilization for a variety of different types of projects. We excel in many field of work such as, but not limited to, large and small industrial developments or buildings, residential subdivisions and commercial properties.
Position Needed: Excavator Operator for Pipe Crew
Safely and efficiently run an excavator on a pipe crew.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Dig and backfill trenches
· Lift, move and manage trench, manhole and stone boxes
· Hoist and place PVC, Metal, and Concrete pipe into ditches
· Hoist and place concrete and metal structures in to ground
· Keep trenches, excavations, stockpile and surrounding areas safe at all times
· Cover pipes with sand, dirt, or other materials
· Load & unload equipment, materials, supplies
· Maintain knowledge of safe construction work practices and procedures
Education, Skills & Physical Requirements:
· Proven experience as an operator in a similar role
· Have transportation to and from job sites in a variety of locations
· Wear and use personal protective equipment as required
· Ability to follow work site instructions
· Ability to climb onto and off of large and small construction equipment and company vehicles
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Regular and predictable attendance
· Successfully pass pre hire drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
