Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research of claim denials and payment discrepancies.
- Follow-up on claims greater than 45 days old.
- Claim re-submissions, re-considerations, and appeals
- other duties as assigned" under job duties/responsibilities
Required Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of collection/billing experience.
- The candidate must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
- Must also be flexible and have the willingness to learn and adapt to the changes and needs of the department.
- Knowledge of CPR Infusion pharmacy preferred.
- Knowledge of infusion billing/collections guidelines for commercial and government payers.
