National Youth Evangelism Ministry Movement
Organization Overview
This dynamic ministry movement is dedicated to transforming how churches approach evangelism through a multi-generational, cascading training model. Our mission is to equip churches with effective evangelism tools that flow from church leadership to adults (teachers, coaches, parents) to youth, creating a sustainable cycle of peer-to-peer evangelism. Through both digital training platforms and large-scale arena events, we aim to ignite a nationwide movement of effective, relational evangelism.
Position Summary
The Executive Director will serve as the operational and spiritual leader of the ministry, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. This role requires a visionary leader who can build and lead high-performing teams while maintaining the integrity of the ministry's mission and message.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership (25%)
- Develop and implement the ministry's vision and strategic direction
- Create and execute annual and long-term strategic plans
- Build and lead an executive team capable of scaling the ministry nationally
- Ensure alignment of all programs with the ministry's core mission and values
- Report regularly to the Board of Directors on ministry progress and strategic initiatives
Program Development and Oversight (25%)
- Guide the development of the evangelism training curriculum and methodology
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of digital training platforms
- Direct the planning and execution of 3-4 annual arena events reaching tens of thousands
- Ensure quality control and consistency of training materials across all platforms
- Develop metrics and evaluation systems to measure program effectiveness
- Create scalable systems for church implementation and support
Fundraising and Financial Management (20%)
- Lead capital campaign initiatives to support nationwide expansion
- Develop and maintain relationships with major donors and foundations
- Oversee grant writing and corporate sponsorship programs
- Ensure sound financial management and budgeting
- Set and achieve fundraising goals aligned with ministry growth
- Target annual budget: $5-7 million
Church Relations and Partnership Development (15%)
- Build and maintain relationships with church leaders nationwide
- Develop partnership programs for churches of various sizes
- Create support systems for implementing training programs
- Foster denominational relationships and partnerships
- Oversee church success measurement and testimonial collection
Organizational Management (15%)
- Build and lead a team of 15-20 staff members
- Oversee human resources, including hiring and professional development
- Ensure legal and financial compliance
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures
- Manage risk and crisis response protocols
- Oversee technology infrastructure and digital platforms
Required Qualifications
- Deep personal faith and commitment to Christian evangelism
- Experience in Senior leadership in ministry or nonprofit organizations
- Master's degree in Theology, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven track record of leading large-scale Christian initiatives
- Demonstrated success in major donor fundraising ($1M )
- Experience managing budgets of $5M
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Understanding of digital platforms and technology integration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with youth ministry and evangelism training
- Track record of scaling organizations nationally
- Background in curriculum development
- Experience with large-scale event production
- History of successful church partnerships
