Roles and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and commission automation and control systems for industrial equipment.
• Program and integrate PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems.
• Develop SCADA and operator interface applications.
• Design databases and write custom programs for PLC and SCADA system interfaces.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Create project manuals and electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Develop scope of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of fluid systems, operations, metallurgy, maintenance, material handling, and furnace systems.
• Assist with on-site commissioning of all parts of an SCI system.
• Conduct customer training, discussions, presentations, and startup assistance.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical or manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with industrial processing equipment, instrumentation and control, AC & DC drives, PLCs, and combustion systems.
• Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and drive systems.
• AutoCAD experience for electrical schematics.
• Expertise in SCADA systems and HMI applications.
• Strong computer programming, networking, database, and reporting skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical expertise and act as a subject matter expert.
• Must be willing to travel internationally (up to 40%).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
