Job Title: PCI DSS Compliance Assessor (Contractor)
Location: Minneapolis, MN / Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term
Required Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of PCI DSS v4.0 requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting SAQ-D or RoC assessments (v3.2.1 or v4.0).
- Familiarity with PCI DSS controls, testing procedures, and audit methodologies.
- Awareness of industry best practices for data protection and information security.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Former PCI QSA or ISA (must be verifiable with certificates – please submit with application).
- 3–7 years of internal control, audit, or compliance experience (see qualification paths below).
- Experience with security risk assessments and compliance frameworks.
- Proven success in leading PCI internal assessments with minimal supervision.
Education & Basic Qualifications:
Option 1:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or Accounting
- 3 years of relevant experience in internal controls or audit
Option 2:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 7 years of internal control or audit experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive audit or compliance experience
- 1 year of experience in public accounting
- One or more relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP)
- Strong business risk acumen and analytical thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid presentation and stakeholder management experience
