Job Title: Senior AWS Windows Engineer (Strong in SCCM, PowerShell) Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid look for TX locals near by location) Duration: 6-Month Contract to Hire
Exp: 10 years
Qualifications:
- 10 years' experience supporting Windows server administration.
- 4 years of experience in AWS, Terraform, Ansible/Chef/Puppet.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and PowerShell.
- Good understanding of administration, configuration, maintenance, and operational support of Windows systems.
- Experience maintaining security, and emergency patching/fixes.
- Experience in automating common operational support processes using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell.
- DevOps mindset with vast experience in scripting and development that helps translate from new projects to Operations.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and F5 Big IP Load balancers.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration of Dell EMC PowerEdge servers.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 2016 and 2019 servers.
- Prior experience with the creation and deployment of new Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, with both On-Prem and AWS-based infrastructures.
- Monitor the health of all servers and infrastructure components; perform break troubleshooting and periodic preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with multiple teams, and both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must have:
- Advanced working experience in AWS
- Excellent Windows administration skills
- MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) / SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
- PowerShell
- Terraform
