What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Associate position at Ingerman?
In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and carrying out preventative maintenance on assigned properties. You will also maintain and improve the condition of property grounds and buildings, complete work orders in a timely manner, and conduct maintenance-related inspections. Additionally, you will respond to on-call emergencies, patrol the property daily, and remove trash and debris from common areas. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, EPA certification, and HVAC certification. Requirements include having hand tools, ANSI approved steel-toe shoes/composite, a valid Driver's License, and reliable transportation. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and has excellent communication skills.
Key Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience
- One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred
- One year of introductory supervisory experience and above-average motivation preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred
- EPA certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
