Maintenance Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Ingerman. As a key member of our facilities operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities at our properties. This includes performing repairs, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and completing preventative maintenance tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
• Respond to work orders and complete repairs as required in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all property grounds and buildings are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas that require attention and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician.
• Two years of supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to provide guidance and direction to others.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is also preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be on-call as required.
• Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair is essential.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
