Automotive Dealership Driver (Part-Time)

Job Description

Ingersoll Auto of Danbury, a family owned car dealership, is seeking a reliable and responsible part-time driver to test drive pre-owned (used) vehicles. This job requires multiple test drives daily varying from 15-30miles in length.

• The driver will make sure the vehicle looks, sounds, smells, and drives as expected for a vehicle of that year and miles.
• This position will also occasionally require shuttle rides to our sister stores and back (about 30 miles away).
• The ideal candidates will be able to work Monday through Friday either -- morning 8:30am to 12:00 noon or afternoon 2:30pm to 6pm. Time may vary slightly from day to day.
• The expectations of this position will be to drive multiple vehicles per day on short test drives, and report back any findings, issues, or cosmetic concerns. (Training around expectations will be provided).
• There is some, but minimal use of technology required through either a smart phone app or tablet.
• Candidate must be punctual, able to follow instructions, and pay attention to details. Must be a self starter and able to work unsupervised..
  
  

Previous driving experience, vehicle maintenance or mechanical experience are positives.

Must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years, a clean driving record, be eligible for employment in the US.

$16.35 - $18.00 per hour
