Job Summary:
The Automotive Lot Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our dealership’s inventory and lot are presented at their best. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of our vehicles, managing lot organization, and supporting the sales and service teams as needed.
The Automotive Lot Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our dealership’s inventory and lot are presented at their best. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of our vehicles, managing lot organization, and supporting the sales and service teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lot Organization: Arrange vehicles on the lot according to dealership standards, ensuring easy access and an appealing display for customers.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and moving vehicles for sales, service, and delivery, including driving vehicles to designated areas as needed.
- Basic Maintenance: Check and maintain vehicle fluid levels and tire pressures; report any mechanical or cosmetic issues to management.
- Weather Preparedness: Clear snow, ice, or debris from vehicles and walkways during inclement weather to ensure safety and accessibility.
- Team Support: Collaborate with the sales and service teams to prepare vehicles for customer delivery or test drives.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep the lot, showroom entrance, and work areas clean and free of clutter.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of automotive care or willingness to learn.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, lot management, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
