Coating Parts Skewer
Ingersoll Cutting Tools is one of the world’s leading suppliers of metal cutting tooling systems and an integral member of the IMC Group of Companies, a distinguished corporate holding of Berkshire Hathaway, with over 130 subsidiaries in 60 countries around the world. Ingersoll’s US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Coating Parts Skewer.
Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare parts on skewers for coating operations.
- Remove parts from skewers upon coating completion.
- Work to production schedules preparing orders in correct order.
- Conducts visual inspection upon parts removal from skewers.
- Quality assurance and labor reporting via Windows based computer systems.
- Works to applicable process protocols/procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Work OT and weekends as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 1 year of manufacturing experience plus.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Work in a clean environment wearing appropriate parts handling equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Intermediate math skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
This is a full-time 1st shift position that may require regular overtime based on workflow demands, including long shifts and weekend work.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently, as well as with others, in a team environment. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits, demonstrate safety consciousness, and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
The Salary range for this position is $17.50-$22/hr.
