At Ingersoll Rand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a company that values creativity, excellence, and collaborationResponsibilities : -Uses blueprints, sketches, drawings, and / or job instruction sheets to produce dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece and setup requirements.-Cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, drill presses, and drill machines and enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit control information for CNC machines.-Sets up, operates, and monitors machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.-Utilizes a variety of measurement tools and methods to evaluate finished parts against specifications and reworks parts that don't meet specifications.-Confers with supervisor, engineers, and production personnel to resolve machining problems and follows all ISO procedures and safety rules, including wearing personal safety equipment and performing hoist inspections.-Routes completed parts to next machine according to the routing sequence and performs data entry on the computer to update part locations and updates work order cover sheets, daily production sheets, status sheets, and quality records.Requirements : -High school diploma or GED-2 years machining experienceCore Competencies : -Ability to convert between metric and US standard units of measure.-Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.-Ability to deal with problems involving several variables and ability to use standard problem-solving methods (ie. 5 Whys) as trainedTravel & Work Arrangements / Requirements : -This position will be fully site based at our facility in Mocksville, NC.What we OfferAt Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership — taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and well-being.
