Pay: $19 - $21 per hour Based on Experience

Penn Valley Pumps (PVP) Powered by Ingersoll Rand, has been developing, improving and manufacturing our Double Disc Pump line of positive displacement pumps for use in the municipal, industrial, chemical and food industries since 1980. Penn Valley Pumps is looking for an assembler to join our growing team!
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our assembly team. This role will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging products on an assembly line or independently in a manufacturing facility. A pump assembler works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Assembly:
* Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions
* Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
* Complete assembly tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); Responsibilities may also include specialized work such as sheet metal bending and soldering
* Stay updated on changes in assembly processes and product specifications
* Meet or exceed production targets and quotas
* Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets
Quality Control:
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
* Test and troubleshoot assemblies
* Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements
* Identify and report defects or issues in the assembly process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality
Inventory Management:
* Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly
* Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
Training and Development:
* Participate in training programs to improve assembly skills and product knowledge
* Attend monthly EHS trainings
* Follow all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks)
Safety Compliance:
* Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.
* Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift
* Test PSI limit no greater than 30,000
Cleanliness and Organization:
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1 years' experience in assembly or other fast paced operations
Core Competencies:
* Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
* General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
* Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Preferences:
* Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
* Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Warrington, PA no travel.
