3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Pay Starts at $23 /hr. Depending on Experience! Plus $2/hr. Shift Premium for 3rd Shift!

CNC Machine Operator

Mocksville, NC - Onsite

Job Summary:
Are you a skilled CNC Machine Operator with a passion for precision and innovation? At Ingersoll Rand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
*Uses blueprints, sketches, drawings, and/or job instruction sheets to produce dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece and setup requirements.
*Cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, drill presses, and drill machines.
*Enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit control information for CNC machines.
*Sets up, operates, and monitors machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
*Utilizes a variety of measurement tools and methods to evaluate finished parts against specifications.
*Reworks parts that don't meet specifications.
*Confers with supervisor, engineers, and production personnel to resolve machining problems.
*Follows all ISO procedures and safety rules, including wearing personal safety equipment and performing hoist inspections.
*Routes completed parts to next machine according to the routing sequence.
*Performs data entry on the computer to update part locations.
*Updates work order cover sheets, daily production sheets, status sheets, and quality records.

Basic Qualifications
*High school diploma or GED
*2 years machining experience

Core Competencies:
*Ability to convert between metric and US standard units of measure.
*Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
*Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
*Ability to use standard problem-solving methods (ie. 5 Whys) as trained
*Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours continuously during a shift.
*Ability to lift up to 35 lbs alone, or 70 lbs with assistance, repeatedly over an 8 hour shift
