Job Overview:
Our Maintenance Team is hiring a CNC Technician who is responsible for ensuring operations of CNC machines and mechanical equipment. Responsible for completing preventive maintenance/troubleshooting requirements on machining lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. This individual will be self-motivated, flexible and willing to shift priorities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Uses precision measuring and testing instruments to ensure machine accuracy.
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to, motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etc.
Locate root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime.
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components including, but not limited to, drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etc. Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls.
Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings, facilities, and grounds including, doors, windows, guard rails and fencing, air handling, air compressors and exhaust units, etc.
Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, machine files, repair files.
Maintains clear communication with supervisor and with production regarding equipment status of repair, and release to production.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt for equipment.
Requirements:
At least 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machines.
At least 3 or more years of experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
At least 3 or more years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools.
At least 3 or more years of experience utilizing hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment.

Pay Range:
Starting Pay is $25.03 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
