Industrial Equipment Specialist

As an Industrial Equipment Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing air compressors, working Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, and enjoying a starting wage of $25/hour with potential increases based on experience. Plus, we're offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Your area will cover from Tonawanda, NY to Erie, PA.

Your Role
- You'll be installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, among others. Familiarity with precise diagnostic tools is essential for this role.
- Offer top-notch customer service through equipment installation and field repairs.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in installation and repair techniques.
- Empower our customers and colleagues by sharing your technical expertise through training.
- Conduct detailed analysis of equipment issues, propose solutions, and maintain precise documentation of all service interactions.
- Ensure all financial records are meticulously kept and reports are submitted in a timely manner.
Your Background
- Two or more years of experience in troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems is preferred. Expertise in compressed air systems and controls is a big plus.
- Completion of high school or equivalent is required. Degrees related to Electrical/Electronic Technology or HVAC are preferred.
- A valid driver’s license, clean of major violations, is essential for this role.
- Desirable certifications include EPA 608 / F-GAS. Any refrigeration experience is highly favorable.
Physical Expectations
- The role demands physical activity, including maintaining equipment in noisy and potentially hazardous conditions.
- Must regularly lift/move equipment and conduct work as per safety policies.
Travel and Further Development
Occasional travel for training (1-2 times a year) may be necessary. Expect to expand your skills and knowledge in our dynamic work environment.
Skills and Tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications is required.
- Strong mechanical and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various systems, including electrical and diesel.
