Job Overview:
The National Sales Manager - Runtech is a remote-based position responsible for growing awareness and sales of Runtech paper machine optimization solutions across the US and Canada. You will work closely with an experienced team of pulp & paper industry professionals to drive sales strategies, manage pipelines, and deliver tailored solutions to customers. This role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director, Sales, Nash North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the product expert for Runtech Systems in the US and Canada, supporting Regional Sales Managers and Representatives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual orders forecasts.
  • Manage and progress sales opportunities using Salesforce.com and adhere to funnel management processes.
  • Promote Runtech capabilities with customers to grow active sales opportunities.
  • Build productive relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Provide timely and effective proposals and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales proposals.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, start-ups, and optimization activities at customer sites.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven sales leadership experience with command of sales processes.
  • 5 years' experience in the pulp & paper industry with technical knowledge of the paper-making process and equipment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 100 days annually), including occasional international travel.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.com and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Passion for leveraging social media to promote Runtech capabilities and successes.


Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 80-100 days of travel annually, with some international travel expected for training and business needs.
