Location: Wallingford, CT (Onsite), Controlled Fluidics - 1262 Old Colony Rd. Wallingford, CT 06492
Earnings: $23 - $29 per hour, based on expertise
Working Hours: First Shift, Monday - Friday, 6am to 4pm

The Role: Be a key player in our Machinist Team, setting up and managing equipment for production. You will liaise with operators to facilitate the crafting of precision plastic components.
Your Mission:
- Exemplary operation and maintenance of CNC machinery, ensuring safety and precision.
- Commitment to quality by following standardized procedures and processes.
- Efficient data management, recording job details and ensuring accuracy.
- Streamline production processes by handling parts efficiently and meeting target times.
- Vigilant inspection of parts, preemptively addressing potential defects.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in CNC Lathe Machining
- Proficient in reading blueprints
Essential Skills:
- Familiarity with computer systems for retrieving instructions and recording data
- Proficiency in using micrometers and other measuring tools
- Strong multitasking and management of time
- Clear communication abilities and team collaboration
- Comprehensive understanding of CNC coding and tooling
- Capability to manage heavy lifting safely with aides when needed
Preferred:
- A background in plastic precision machining
- Experience with CMM and other inspection tools
- ERP system proficiency is advantageous
Position Details: Located in Wallingford, CT, this full-time role requires no travel.
Compensation: Hourly pay from $23.00 to $29.00 based on individual qualifications.
