Responsibilities:
The Regulatory Coordinator will examine, evaluate, and investigate eligibility for conformity with laws and regulations governing contract compliance of licenses and permits, and perform internal audits and other compliance and enforcement inspection and analysis activities not classified elsewhere.
- Ensure that products that are created meet the Regulator standards and the expectations of the customer (ISO, ABS, ATEX, CE, UL, REACH, RoHS, ITAR, and similar)
- Review standard operating procedures and processes to ensure standards are being followed
- Review documentation to ensure that it is up to date and current to the business environment
- Train different layers of the organization on ISO standards and layers of compliance
- Audit company processes and standards to ensure they are being followed
- Create audit reports to distribute to various stakeholders
- Drive corrective action to any audit findings
- Assist in adhering to compliance with certain government programs
- Assist in establishing and implementing quality and process improvements
- Ensures timelines and milestones for task completion are met
- Develop an audit plan for the organization that addresses components of risk that are identified as unacceptable
- Expertise in relationship building with internal and external customers
- Ability to meet tight deadlines for regulatory responses
- Proficient in the us Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to problem solve, support multi-disciplinary teams, use conflict management and team building skills
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (not required) and / or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
- 3 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role within an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and simplify complex or technical information for clarity.
- Successful history of working with deadlines to deliver goals and projects on time.
- Good problem-solving skills and facilitation.
- Engaging and inviting style for a highly motivated supplier base.
- Quality Management: 3 years of experience in quality management, with a strong understanding of quality processes and evaluation methods.
- Manages Ambiguity: Maintains focus and composure in uncertain situations, driving progress while adapting swiftly to change. Leads and supports others effectively through transitions.
