Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Pavement Markings Sales Representative to lead our pavement markings sales efforts across a designated territory. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our pavement marking products and services to various clients, including municipalities, contractors, and DOTs. You will drive revenue growth in your region by building strong relationships with customers in the public and private sectors. Your expertise will help enhance roadway safety and visibility through high-quality marking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Territory Management: Manage a sales territory for our product lines including thermoplastic road marking, paint, glass beads, and preforms.Territory includes California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Idaho.
Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including municipalities, contractors, and state DOTs.
Quote Development: Prepare and deliver pricing quotations for customer projects and lettings.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our pavement marking products, including materials, application methods, and compliance standards.
Market Intelligence: Timely communication of market information along with normal documentation including call reports, customer profiles, and monthly summaries.
Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and community meetings to promote our services and build brand awareness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the construction, pavement markings, or related industries.
Must be able to meet with customers outside of normal business hours on a regular basis to attend customer-related events, trials, and meet travel requirements.
Minimum 50% travel required.
Strong knowledge of pavement marking products and services is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within designated territory.
This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidatemust not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
