GENERAL SUMMARY
- Establishes and administers the human resources program of the Facility.
- Responsible for administering the employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, workers compensation, safety and other components of the human resources program.
- Develops, updates, interprets and explains policies and procedures.
- Oversees and represents the facility at administrative hearings related to personnel and labor relations.
- Researches, develops and implements policies and procedures to guide the human resources program and ensure compliance with related state and federal regulations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Five years of experience as HR Director
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system in PC LAN environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work parameters.
- Ability to access outside locations to attend hearings and meetings.
- Ability to lift payroll and other records weighing up to 10 lbs.
