Position: HRIS Analyst
Reports to: Director of Human Resources & Communications
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year

JOB SUMMARY: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role involves system configuration, troubleshooting, data analysis, and ensuring HR technology solutions align with district needs. The HRIS Analyst works closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve processes, enhance data integrity, and support reporting and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration & Maintenance:
• Maintain and configure the HRIS (Skyward), ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Provide technical support to HR and end-users regarding system functionality and issues.
• Coordinates the District guest teacher program, including daily assignments and data tracking.
• Assists with the coordination of personnel recruitment, hiring and other transactions.
• Employee benefit communication and processing.
• Data Integrity & Security:
• Ensure accuracy and security of HR data by implementing best practices and regular audits.
• Maintain user roles, permissions, and system security settings.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Develop and generate HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support decision-making.
• Extract, analyze, and present HR data related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and compliance.
• Process Improvement & Automation:
• Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure HRIS complies with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
• Document system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaboration & Support:
• Work with HR, IT, payroll, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Provide training and support to HR staff and employees on HRIS usage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, college experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience in a school setting preferred.
• Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Positive, high-energy, “can-do” attitude, intelligence, and excellent interpersonal/people skills
• Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy, and ability to work effectively and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail. Able to monitor/track deadlines within tight timeframes.
• Well organized, diligent and thorough in promptly and efficiently managing multiple tasks.
• Excel in an environment of continued change and growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
