About The Role
Under the direction of the Wilson Talent Center (WTC) Administrator, the Law Enforcement Instructor will provide a comprehensive and high quality program of study which prepares students for a career, future learning, and leadership in the field of Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice.
- Coordinate and supervise all program-related student learning activities.
- Provide high quality instruction in classroom and lab settings that helps students develop the skills, knowledge, and work habits required for employment and future learning in the field of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice.
- Develop high quality lessons and lab activities which provide the basis for rich student learning, using real life experiences, outside experts, and other industry resources whenever possible.
- Possess or be eligible for CTE Certification as Law Enforcement Instructor.
- Two years recent, relevant work experience in law enforcement using the skills and knowledge taught in the Law Enforcement program.
- Extensive knowledge of emergency response procedures.
