Eaton Rapids High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our athletic department as a Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach. This full-time position is focused on developing student-athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball, excellent leadership qualities, and a commitment to the holistic development of young athletes.
POSITION: JV Volleyball Coach
BUILDING: Eaton Rapids High School
DATE OF AVAILABILITY: Fall 2025 Season
RATE OF PAY: Per EREA Cocurricular (Schedule B) Pay Schedule - 6%
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Possess a demonstrated knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies and fundamentals
2. Ability to organize practice sessions
3. Ability to project a positive adult role model for students
4. Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and community
5. Willingness to implement the school district's "Athletic Philosophy," particularly as it pertains to: a) Athletic Code; b) discipline; c) team concepts
6. Ability to cooperate and work with the Athletic Director and High School Principal on matters involving the volleyball program
7. Ability to provide locker room supervision
8. Previous coaching experience desired, but not required
