Position Details
Under the direct supervision of the administrator and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Ingham Intermediate School District, the Mental Health Specialist is responsible for providing therapeutic supportive services for eligible students. The Mental Health Specialist provides student assessment, therapy, consultation, case planning, crisis response and the provision of direct service
- Provides mental health treatment services and periodic reporting of student progress
- Provides consultative services to staff and parents within a defined pre-referral process
- Provides mental health assessments for eligible students, along with the development and implementation of individual care plans for these students.
