POSITION: Full Time 1.0 FTE Middle School English Teacher
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate for English
- Successful preparation for and attainment of high student achievement through effective instructional practices
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with students of all ability levels to meet their academic, behavioral, and emotional needs; proven ability to communicate with parents and other educators
- Strong interpersonal skills with secondary students
- Ability to foster a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed.
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with professional learning communities
SALARY: Per Master Agreement
STARTING DATE: Start of 2025-26 school year
