Job Summary: The Noon Lunch Aide Substitute fills in for regular staff members who supervise students during lunchtime breaks and playtime. Some of the main responsibilities include helping students follow the rules, keeping the lunchroom clean, supervising students on the playground, and assisting with lunchroom tasks. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students in an active and often noisy environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to work cooperatively with our noon lunch aide team, teachers and students
- Positive attitude and rapport with our noon lunch aide team, teachers and students
- Excellent communication skills
Job Description:
- Responsible for supervising students during lunchtime
- Wiping tables
- Playground supervision
Physical Requirement and Work Environment:
- This position requires long periods of standing and walking
- The position requires occasional lifting
- Work takes place both indoors and outdoors
Work Schedule: Varies
- Monday-Friday, 11:00 am - 1:15 pm as needed
Rate of pay: $15.00 per hour
