About The Role
Under the general direction of the administrator and working in collaboration with Special Education administrators, Ingham ISD staff and constituent district personnel, is responsible for coordinating the Medicaid School-Based Services Reimbursement Programs, performing various cost analysis and program reviews, maintaining the county Special Education funding and tuition billback systems, and analyzing and reporting Special Education expenditures and revenues in order to maximize school resources.
- Works closely with the administrator, local district business officials, and Special Education directors in calculating and analyzing constituent district Special Education claim reimbursements and tuition billback calculations consistent with the county Special Education funding policy.
- Develops processes and forms to obtain and verify claim components provided by constituent districts. Provides information and responds to questions from constituents regarding the Special Education funding system.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- Minimum of three to five years of progressively more responsible recent and relevant experience in an accounting or finance position.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
