SUMMARY
Eaton Rapids High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Varsity Sideline Cheerleading Coach to lead our cheer program. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cheerleading and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes. This seasonal position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to develop and implement training programs, and a commitment to promoting teamwork, school spirit, and sportsmanship.
POSITION: Varsity Sideline Cheerleading Coach
BUILDING: Eaton Rapids High School
DATE OF AVAILABILITY: Fall 2025 Season
RATE OF PAY: Per EREA Cocurricular (Schedule B) Pay Schedule - 5%
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
1. Possess a demonstrated knowledge of cheerleading techniques and fundamentals
2. Ability to organize practice sessions
3. Ability to project a positive adult role model for students
4. Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and community
5. Willingness to implement the school district's "Athletic Philosophy," particularly as it pertains to: a) Athletic Code; b) discipline; c) team concepts
6. Ability to cooperate and work with the Athletic Director and High School Principal on matters involving the cheerleading program
7. Ability to provide locker room supervision
8. Previous coaching experience desired, but not required
