What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Driver position at Ingles Markets?
Location : Black Mountain - DC : 2913 US Hwy 70 Black Mountain NC 28711
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, be able to pass a verification of Motor Vehicle Record, be able to pass a pre-employment screening process through the FMCSA, and a drug and alcohol screening, and must be at least 20 years of age.
A Day in the Life
Drivers will make deliveries throughout the Southeast to Ingles stores as well as make pickups from our vendors within approximately 300 miles of our distribution center in Black Mountain, NC. Drivers are home daily. Our dedicated team of Drivers traverse millions of miles each year, playing a crucial role in keeping our shelves stocked.
Experience
Candidates must have a Class A CDL plus a year of driving experience.
