Looking for a Part-Time Chaplain with a Master of Divinity, 5- to 7 years Pastoral experience
Hourly Part time rate: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour based on experience

Master of Divinity and five (5) to seven (7) years pastoral experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to read and interpret the Bible and/or other religious documents, the ability to speak effectively before groups of people. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents and their families as well as a diverse staff of varying ages. Has completed at least one unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education).

Key Responsibilities
Pastoral Care
Provides worship services to residents and staff as well as aiding residents in a time of need.
Maintains all administrative duties for the chapel and services.
Maintains professional presence when representing Ingleside; exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance.
Demonstrates professional development/skills competency in all activities.
Complies with Ingleside at King Farm established safety rules and practices.

Key Responsibilities
Pastoral Care
Provides worship services to residents and staff as well as aiding residents in a time of need.
- Plans and presides over worship services including chapel, Holy Communion, Bible studies, special services (i.e. Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, et al) and Health Center Services.
- Schedules replacement Chaplain when needed to ensure pastoral coverage.
- Schedules and leads funeral services of residents as requested by the family.
- Counsels and consults with residents and staff as appropriate.
- Makes visits to residents in the Health Center, Apartments, Cottages, and hospital as necessary.
- Assists residents through periods of grief, depression, and other hardships.
- Offers religious and spiritual guidance to residents, family, and staff of Ingleside.
- Participates in various resident committees and departmental meetings to enhance the spiritual well-being of the residents and staff.
Maintains all administrative duties for the chapel and services.
- Maintains necessary supplies for the Chaplaincy and orders additional supplies as necessary.
- Creates bulletins to be distributed during worship services.
- Writes service sermon on a weekly basis.
- Sits as ex-officio member to the Chapel Committee; attends monthly meetings that set policies and budget.
- Writes monthly articles for the Chimes and sends to the Assistant Director of Resident Services.

- Maintains resident confidentiality and privacy at all times according to policies and procedures; uses discretion when discussing confidential matters.

- Reports any potential safety hazard(s) immediately to supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
- Reports any injury of resident, visitor, or employee immediately to supervisor or other appropriate personnel
- Provides assistance to resident, visitor, or employee in an emergency situation; following the proper emergency procedures.
