DEFINITION
Under the direction of a site principal, principal’s designee or other appropriate administrator,
plan, implement, monitor, and assess a classroom instructional program.
This position is for former IUSD teachers who have retired from the district with at least 10 years of service, desiring to serve in a Substitute Teacher capacity. Inglewood Unified School District, located in beautiful Southern California. Centrally located within the greater metropolitan Los Angeles area, Inglewood Unified School District is the only school district in Inglewood, California, an All-American City. The district is a short distance away from following popular and common attractions:
• 5 miles to the beach
• 3 miles to the Los Angeles International Airport, largest airport in the West Coast
• 11 miles to Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world
• 11 miles to Beverly Hills
• 35 miles to Disneyland
• 1.5 hours to the California desert, mountains, and ski resorts, etc.
• Inglewood is the home of the NFL teams the Rams and Chargers
Qualification for employment includes completion of online training in the following areas:

*Preventing Workplace Violence
*Bloodborne Pathogens
*Sexual Harassment
*Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter
Upon offer of employment, candidates will receive information and directions regarding this training.
Applicants must possess a valid California teaching credential or 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit. A Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Education Specialist Credential is preferred.
