Plant Maintenance
It is the primary duty of this position to safely maintain and repair the company equipment. Report daily to maintenance manager and assistant manager.
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty, other duties may be assigned.
- Works under limited supervision and selects from verbal and written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Maintains a clean, safe, work area and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Use hand tools which require grasping and fine manipulation, operate electrical and pneumatic tools.
- Welding
- General plumbing
- Maintain health such that will allow passing of physical examinations and drug & alcohol tests.
- Maintain a positive attitude with fellow workers, customers and supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with diesel engine repair.
- Knowledge of air brakes and suspension.
- Possess a valid class C driver’s license (Texas).
- Pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
- Be able to communicate effectively.
