TITLE: Financial Analyst, Transformation Office
LOCATION: Westchester, IL
REPORTS TO: Mgr SG&A & Transformation Office Finance
Primary Function
Assist in developing the operating expense financial forecast for the organization; serve as primary Finance partner to members of the Executive Leadership Team and their direct reports to build budgets, understand and explain variances vs. forecast, and drive an owners’ mindset; perform month-end deliverables (accruals, adjustments, and other reporting); support the monthly SG&A reviews with the Chief Financial Officer; contribute to ad hoc reporting of historical and future investments in SG&A.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist with corporate financial planning and analysis as necessary, including, but not limited to results reporting, quarterly earnings package, and board of directors presentations
- Ensure overall SG&A plan alignment with profit growth outlook
- Bring discipline around SG&A spending and ensure external commitments are upheld
- Provide headcount oversight/control
- Assure ownership and accountability across the business
- Coordinate creation of performance metrics, specifically surrounding Cost Competitiveness and Zero-Based Budgeting initiatives
- Identify process improvement opportunities and manage the corresponding implementations
- Assist with development of business process documentation for new processes
- Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the regional finance teams
- Develop collaborative and influential relationships with members of the Executive Leadership Team and the key leaders within their respective Corporate teams
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; and a CPA preferred
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income sheet, cash flow, and working capital analysis
- Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions. Demonstrated ability to think from both financial and business perspectives.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP and BPC is desirable
- Knowledge of Food Ingredients or Corn Wet Milling industry (competition, business climate, manufacturing processes), a plus
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
